为正确地、客观地、全面地评价历史人物，增强对历史人物拿破仑的认识，提高学生思辨才能、逻辑思维以及口头表达能力，丰富校园文化生活，由上海美高双语学校社会科学部策划，并由10-12年级师生参与的拿破仑历史实践活动，2018年12月6日在上海美高双语学校四楼报告厅正式拉开帷幕。

In order to evaluate historical figures correctly, objectively andcomprehensively, enhance the understanding of historical figures Napoleon,improve students' ability of speculation, logical thinking and oral expression,and enrich campus cultural life, Napoleon's historical practice activities,which were planned by Living Word Shanghai Social Science Department and participated by teachers and students of grade 10-12, officially took place in the report hall on the fourth floor on December 6.

首先，在拿破仑学术研讨会上，五组学生分别从不同学科的角度，包括历史、地理、商务学、政治哲学、心理学，来探讨拿破仑其人其事，呈现了社会科学的多样性和深刻性!

The first event is the Student Conferenceon Napoleon. Students made five presentations about Napoleon, with viewpointsof various subjects: History, Geography, Business Studies, PoliticalPhilosophy, and Psychology，demonstrating the diversity and depth of social science subjects.

拿破仑学术研讨会

历史小组梳理了拿破仑的生涯轨迹，呈现他毕生的兴衰起伏、主导的重要战役和事迹。地理小组以精美地图呈现了拿破仑进行战争和被流放的地域，以及法兰西帝国的组成部分。

西方哲学组以“帝国”的概念解释拿破仑的政权，并指出，他的政治思想受到卢梭和孟德斯鸠的启发，并影响了后来的尼采。商务学小组讲解了拿破仑所谋划的“大陆体系”，他禁止欧陆盟国和英国之间的贸易，以打击英国经济。此政策失败并加速他的退位。

最后，心理学小组介绍了拿破仑的心理特质，包括自恋、强势、不忠实;以及为弥补身高而生的高度成就动机，称为“拿破仑情结”。

The History team reviewed Napoleon’s career and trajectory throughout his lifetime, showing his rise and fall, important battles and events.The Geography team used delicate maps to demonstrate the places where Napoleon fought wars and where he was exiled, along with the composition of the French Empire.The Western Philosophy team introduced the concept of empire to explain Napoleon’s governance, and pointed out that Napoleon’s political thought was influenced by Rousseau and Montesquieu, and influenced Nietzsche.The Business Study team talked about the “Continental System,” a trade policy Napoleon made to blockade trades between French allies and Britain, in order to hit the latter’s economy. This policy failed and then hastened Napoleon’s demise. Lastly, the Psychology team introduced Napoleon’s psychological traits, including narcissism, demandingness, disloyalty, and his high ambitionfor compensating his short stature, known as “Napoleon Complex.”

同学们声情并茂、幽默诙谐、富有感染力的演说，使现场高潮迭起。本次学生研讨会展现了高度的学术成就，为第二天校外观展做足了准备。
