Key Club指导老师：Hans Coburn

Key Club是Kiwanis Club的高中组织。Key喻指打开孩子的心灵，因此叫做“开锁社”。这里是美高的公益社团。我们会组织社区服务活动，以及更大型的公益活动。

Key Club is run by our high school organization through the Kiwanis Club organizaiton. Key refers to opening up a child's mind,so it is also referred to as the "Unlock Club". It is our largest public welfare organization in Living World Shanghai. It is primarily involvedin organizing community service activities and larger public welfare activities.

Orbis Club指导老师：Kenis Gao

国际奥比斯组织 (Orbis International -- ORBIS) 是一个致力于为世界各国盲人和眼疾患者恢复光明的国际性慈善机构，宗旨是“使全球失明者重见光明”。

美高Orbis Club在校外奥比斯的支持下，成功在学校开展了奥比斯小老师活动。为校外爱心活动做好了准备，切身实际地去做公益服务。

Orbis International or ORBIS Club is aninternational charity dedicated to the restoration of eye sight for the blindand those suffering from eye diseases around the world.

LWS Orbis Club is in support of the Orbis charity organization and our activitiesin the school are representative of the international charity organization atlarge. They prepare for charity actions outside of the school, and have done the public service in person.

美高新闻社刚成立不久，由方先生和Jason老师亲自带领，新闻社以美高校园生活为主要素材，报道学校热点新闻，并为官微小编提供彰显上海美高特色的校园趣闻。新闻社分为编辑部和摄影部，他们以发现校园新鲜事物为乐。

It provides interesting campus stories highlighting the characteristics of Living word for both our official website and other special events. The news club is divided into the editorial and photography departments. And discover the pleasure of discovering new events on campus while learning the craft of reporting and writing editorials.

极客社团由科技总指导Sunny老师担任指导老师。社团以培养学生创新精神和实践能力为目标，以系列化课程为载体，以参加各类科技比赛为契机，极客社团为同学们提供了一个学习、实践和展示科学素养的大舞台。

Vocal Club指导老师：Pietro Cascione&Queena Li

美高声乐社是为了让爱好音乐的同学，在课余之时，能够享受主宰音乐的快感。社团希望同学能够缓解沉重的压力，以良好的状态去学习。在声乐社你可以学到一些比较实用的歌唱技巧，同时还可以学习一些演奏乐器(吉他、钢琴和鼓等)。

The vocal club lets students who love musicenjoy the pleasure of learning music as their extracurricular activity. Theclub hopes to relieve the pressures of study with music and creativeexpression. In the vocal club you can learn practical singing skills and alsoplay musical Instruments (guitar, piano, drum, etc.).

Dance Club指导老师：Sasha Deduchenko

舞蹈社是一个舞蹈爱好者的组织。融合了多种舞蹈风格，包括现代舞、爵士舞、Hip Pop和House。学生们可以通过即兴创作和自由舞蹈来表达自己、释放自己。跟着节奏律动起来，足以让全场尖叫。

The Cance club is an organization of dance lovers. It combines many styles of dance, including modern dance, jazz dance, Hip Pop and House. Students can express themselves and release themselves through improvisation and free dance. Follow the rhythm, enough to make the audience scream.

Drama Club指导老师：Romaric Berger

美高话剧社以“用心演绎每个角色，为观众送去最真的快乐”为宗旨，是一个以表演为主的文化艺术类社团，是为每一个喜欢话剧、热爱表演的同学而建立的舞台，没有门槛，只要你喜欢表演，想结识众多朋友，想学习表演知识都可以加入。

The drama club strives to create passionate performances and develop the cultural sophistication of our students. It aims to create a vivid performing arts community. Those who love acting and establishing a stage presence can find friends of similar interests’ and build a vibrant social community.

Chemical Club指导老师：Jelena Durdevic

美高化学社带领大家共同操作趣味实验，领略物质变化之神奇，激发同学们对于科学的热情与好奇心。提高学生对于化学实验的积极性。

The chemistry club conducts many interesting experiments. It strives to learn and appreciate the magic of change and stimulate students' enthusiasm and curiosity for science. The exploration of science through chemical experiments and lab process is a wonderful endeavor.

Anime Club指导老师：Kenis Gao

美高动漫社是为对ACE有兴趣的同学而创建的社团，让每一个喜欢动漫的同学在二次元的世界里找到属于自己的快乐。培养能将动漫元素、动漫文化、动漫精神与现实良好结合的能力。

The anime club established for students who are interested in ACE, so that every student who likes animation can find their common peers in the world of the second dimension. Its goal is to cultivate the ability to combine animation concepts, animation culture, and exploration of the genre.

上海美高双语学校充分尊重并支持学生的兴趣天性发展，希望学生走出自己的舒适区，不断挑战自我，高中部目前已有10余个社团，社团活动是校园文化的重要内容。高中部所有社团均由学生自主组织和管理，参加校内外社团活动，有助于拓宽他们的视野，提升他们的社会责任感。

Living Word Shanghai fully respects and supports the development of students' natural interests and hopes that students can step out of their comfort zone through constantly challenging themselves. Currently, there are more than 10 clubs in our high school program and club activities are an important part of our campus culture. All the associations in our high school are independently organized and managed by students. Participating in club activities inside and outside the school helps broaden their horizons and enhance their sense of social responsibility but most importantly, it’s just fun.
