Football Legend Comes to Living Word!

何塞•费尔南德斯•古蒂——许多在中国皇马球迷耳熟能详的名字。这次作为传奇人物，终于要与大家见面了。上海美高学校作为西班牙皇家马德里足球基金会在中国唯一足球夏令营的合作学校和官方认证场地。2015年6月30日古蒂将来上海，在上海美高学校举行众人瞩目的皇马(中国)青少年足球夏令营揭幕式开球仪式。此前已在29日成都开球，届时我们将安排30位学员参加开幕式典礼与传球零距离接触，尤其是对夏令营的小学员来说的确是一个振奋人心的好消息。

古蒂10岁进入皇家马德里少年队，95年进入了皇马一线队伍。古蒂带球脚法纯熟，技术非常出色，灵气十足，尤其是与队友的传切配合炉火纯青，同时在调度和组织方面也有一定的宏观控制能力，还有较强的禁区外攻击能力。他为皇马出场500多次，为球队获得多次各种国内、国际级杯赛冠军立下汗马功劳。在球队的鼎盛时期担任过队长，继劳尔以后的球队精神领袖。退役后，他一直从事于教练员课程的进修学习，并致力于全球公益事业尤其是青少年足球培训，因此在西班牙绝对是一个传奇性的人物。“我热爱在皇马踢球获得的战绩，更享受足球给我人生带来的快乐。我希望中国越来越多的孩子能够爱上足球，爱上运动场。”古蒂说。

在上海美高学校的教育理念下，我们与西班牙皇家马德里(简称：皇马)足球俱乐部合作，并邀请古蒂等西班牙教练来美高学校进行夏令营活动。美高学校响应中国政府提出提高我国足球水平的号召，愿意帮助更多学生全面发展，特此与皇马基金会合作请来了传奇人物古蒂来我校负责足球夏令营青训总教练。古蒂将作为本期青训总教练为各位小学员们进行足球课程培训。记者了解到，首批学员当中最小的7岁，的14岁。他们既是皇马小球迷，又是足球运动爱好者，在经过基本的体能测试后，即将开始为期二周的足球训练。与传球见面不仅仅是满足好奇心，更主要地是学习先进的足球理念，培养良好的习惯并全面提高自身综合素质。球星传奇般的经历一定会对小学员产生积极的影响与激励，相信一个暑假以后学员们各方面会有一个长足的进步，以崭新的面貌出现在新学期中。

由于皇马有着成熟的管理运作模式及在国际足坛与全球商业界都有着声名显赫的地位及经久不衰的企业品牌，因此西班牙皇家马德里足球基金会在挑选合作伙伴时非常谨慎。经过长期综合的科学评估与考察，在中国的教育界选择了与他们有着同样理念、也同样有影响力的全球教育联盟与美高学校作为唯一官方合作伙伴。

美高学校不仅拥有的足球夏令营合作项目，也愿意将夏令营先进的国际足球资源无偿分享给闵行区的足球老师，以推进闵行区足球水平的发展。特此聘请西班牙教练为闵行区50所中小学开展足球师资、课程内容方面的交流与合作。培训课程将包括皇马专属教案、皇马足球礼仪、全程英语教学、增强体能的科学营养膳食教学以及内容丰富的师生间主题互动活动。全国首个试点就在上海市闵行区。

今年夏天，皇马青训营将在上海、北京、成都三地为7-17岁的400名儿童和青少年进行足球培训。机不可失，尤其希望酷爱足球运动的小学员们尽快报名我们的足球夏令营项目。

Jose Maria Gutierrez Fernandez Guti (or ‘Guti’ for short) is a name well known to China’s Real Madrid Football fans. Now this legend will finally come and meet us. On June 30, 2015 Guti will arrive at Living Word Shanghai to conduct the Real Madrid Youth Summer Camp’s opening ceremony. Before this he will also conduct opening ceremonies in Chendu on the 28th and in Beijing on the 29th. This is definitely exciting news, especially for our young players.

Guti entered Real Madrid’s Youth Academy at 10, and made his debut at 21 in 1995. His skills are phenomenal. He was a great team player, yet at the same time he managed to keep a certain degree of control over the macro-management and organization of his team. As an individual player, he was known for his long-distance striking ability. In total he played over 500 games for Real Madrid. Through exhaustive effort, he has helped Real Madrid win several domestic and international championships. Guti was Real Madrid’s captain during its golden age, as well as the team’s mentor after the departure of Raul Gonzalez. Even in retirement, he continued to instruct others. He has worked hard to better the lives of people all over the world, especially through the Youth Football Academy, making him a legendary figure in Spain. Guti told us that as much as he loved the success they’ve had on the field, they love the joy football has brought into their lives even more. They hope more and more children in China can come to love football and the playing field.

In accordance with Living Word’s educational values, our school decided to work with the Real Madrid Football Club and invite Guti here to conduct our Summer Camp activities. Living Word has called upon the Chinese government to improve the reputation of football in China. We are willing to help with more students’ comprehensive develop. As this term’s head coach, Guti will provide instruction for each student. The first group of students must be between seven and fourteen years of age. They should be fans of both Real Madrid and of playing football. After some basic physical tests, they will have two weeks of training. Practicing football will not just satisfy curiosity, it will mainly teach kids advanced football concepts, develop good habits, and improve their personal qualities in general. Getting football star-level experience will definitely be a positive inspiration for the kids. You can bet all the participants will grow, learn and be ready for the next term!

As Real Madrid has a mature management style of operation, a prestigious position and enduring corporate brand in international football, not to mention the global business community, the Real Madrid Football Foundation will be very careful in choosing a partner. After a long-term and comprehensive assessment of the educational circles in China, it chose a school with shared ideas and influence in the Global Education Alliance to be their only official partner-Living Word.

Living Word not only has a summer football camp for cooperative projects it is also willing to share summer camp resources with football teachers in the Minhang District of Shanghai. We hope to advanced international football and promote its development in Minhang. We have hired Spanish coaches for exchange and cooperation between 50 primary and secondary schools in Minhang District. Training courses will include Real Madrid’s exclusive lessons, Real Madrid football etiquette, English lessons, physical strengthening, science and nutrition, and interactive activities between teachers and students. The country's very first pilot program will be here in the Minhang District of Shanghai.

This summer, the Real Madrid Youth Training Camp will be in Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu. 400 Children and adolescents aged 7-17 will take part. This is an amazing opportunity, especially for football fans. Primary students should be signed up as soon as possible.
