自我介绍

My name is Kathy Xu. I am a homeroom teacher for Grade Four and English teacher for Grades Four and Five, and I am also responsible for ESL 1. I majored in English teaching in Gannan Teachers’ College, and I started to study International Economics and Trade at Donghua University last year to help broaden my experience. Learning is a lifelong journey that I am excited to continue.

我的名字叫KathyXU，我是四年级的班主任，四五年级的英语老师，同时也负责ESL1课程。我毕业于赣南师范大学英语教育专业，并且在去年上海东华大学开始攻读国际经济与贸易，以此拓宽我的视野。学习是一辈子的事，我很开心能持续学习。

Throughout my two years of teaching in Chinese schools and five years of teaching in International schools, I have come to deeply realize the differences between Chinese and Western culture and the advantages of both Chinese and Western teaching. Education is not simply giving lectures and facilitating classes, but having a mission as well.I have a lot of resources to mix Chinese and Western education since I have worked in domestic and international schools for many years. I cater my teaching style to make sure the students benefit from the class in the best way.

在中国学校工作两年及在国际学校五年的教学生涯中，我深刻的意识到中西方文化的不同点以及各自的教学优势，教育不仅仅是上课或者辅助教学那么简单，同时也是一种使命。多年的国内及国际学校教学经验，让我能够有更多的资源去糅合中西方的教育，通过我的教学方式确保他们在课堂上学到更多东西。

教学风格

In the international school, I had a great partner named Mr Wolff. He was a great homeroom teacher. He was patient, he was honest, and he always smiled to the students, even when he was exhausted. He encouraged the students to be caring, open-minded, and well-balanced. He was not afraid to joke, laugh and play games in the class to achieve his goal of making every single student participate and learn. I was so impressed by his classes, and he gave me a lot of inspiration in my future teaching.

在国际学校工作期间，我有一个优秀的搭档叫Mr. Wolff，他是一名优秀的班主任，他有耐心，诚实正直。尽管有时筋疲力尽，但是也会微笑地面对孩子。为了达到教学目标，他敢于在教室里开玩笑，用开怀大笑和玩游戏去使每一个孩子参与到教学中，他的课堂深深地印在我的脑海中，并且给予我在将来的教学很多的灵感和鼓励。
