教育背景

Hi, I am Emily. I grew up in a small city in Fu Jian province. My major is Bilingual Chemistry and I graduated from Changchun Normal University. I like to observe the chemical changes from one substance to another substance. So I like to do some interesting experiments in the lab. I also like to make friends and share experiences with each other. I like teamwork; I believe that cooperation can create more value.

嗨，我是Emily，我来自福建省。我毕业于长春师范大学双语化学专业。我喜欢观察事物之间化学变化。所以我也喜欢在实验室里做些有趣的实验。我喜欢交友与分享，也喜欢团队合作。我相信合作往往会创造更大的价值。

为什么成为老师

Why did I choose to be a teacher? Firstly, I love kids very much and like becoming friends with them. I want to get into their world to inspire them and care for their healthy growth. Secondly is when looking at their innocent and naive smiling face, I will have a very strong desire, I want to give them the best education and provide children with the correct outlook on life and values. It also pushes me to succeed.

之所以选择教师这个行业，首先是因为我喜爱小孩，喜欢和他们做朋友，走进他们的世界去启迪和呵护他们健康成长。再次就是每当看着他们天真一张张天真的笑脸，我会有种很强烈的愿望：想把的教育送给他们，培养孩子们正确的人生观和价值观。这也鞭策着我不断进步与学习。

I like math. I have been exploring how to let students play with mathematics. How to perceive daily-math and let students use math in their daily lives. Combining Chinese and Western mathematics activities, I allow children to become interested in mathematics, and inspire them to create and design different types of math.

我喜欢数学。并一直在探索如何让学生会玩数学，从生活中感知数学并让学生会运用到生活中去。中西方数学活动相渗透，让孩子们对数学感兴趣，并启发他们去创造和设计别样的数学。

教学理念

I have experience working in an Art School where I taught students mathematical concepts and Chinese Writing. During this time I learned how to interact with primary grade students. I believe every student is special, and we need to be concerned about their education and growth at the same time.

我曾经在一所艺术学校工作过两年。我担任那里的奥数老师和作文老师。在此期间我对和小学生的沟通交流有了更多体会。我相信每一位学生都是特别的。我们在对其进行教育的同时更要关注他们的健康成长。

Last year I worked as a Chemistry and Integrated Sciences teacher at Living Word Shanghai. I was also a Grade 10 Homeroom Teacher. It was a very meaningful experience for me. I have learned what an international school is and how it operates. I also learned how to design classes which can garner interest by different grade level students. As a 10th grade homeroom teacher, I know it is very important for a school to communicate effectively with parents and I can find ideal ways to facilitate communication between parents and students.

去年，我在美高任教，期间教授化学和综合科学的课程，并且担任十年级的班主任。对我来说这是一段很有意义的经历。我对国际学校课程优劣有更深的认识。对有着不同程度学生的课堂有了更好的学科设计。十年级的班主任工作也让我知道了如何与家长沟通和传递校园信息，更好的协调好家长和学生的关系。

在LWS的期望

Now，as a grade one homeroom teacher, I am very concerned about the kids' healthy growth. We should give more love to educate them and encourage them to develop a healthy lifestyle and healthy working habits. I communicate often with parents, updating them about their child's performance and development in school with the goal of allowing them to develop in an ideal way.

现在，作为一名一年级的班主任，我对我们的学生的健康成长十分关心。年幼的孩子我们更应投入更多的爱去教育他们，关心他们，多多鼓励他们。培养他们正确的人生价值观。从小养成好习惯和好作风。经常与家长沟通，让家长更了解孩子的校园表现，家校互动，给孩子更好的成长空间。
