2018年6月1日下午，上海美高双语学校体育馆流光溢彩、歌舞欢腾，儿童节文艺汇演在这里举行。来自小学部的师生，通过丰富多彩的艺术表演形式，展示自我风采，欢度六一儿童节。

在热烈的掌声中，美高教育集团方正先生致辞。他祝全校儿童六一儿童节快乐，希望孩子们玩得开心，玩得安全!

In warm applause, Mr. Fang Zheng of Living Word Shanghai Education Group, delivered a speech. He wished the school’s students a happy Children's Day, and hoped children were able to have fun and play safe!

江校长在随后的讲话中，向同学们提出了两个希望：做阳光同学，坚强乐观善良;做自主的孩子，自己的事情自己做，培养自己独立思考的能力。

In the following speech, President Jiang raised two hopes for students: to be an excellent student full of strength, optimism and kindness; and to be an independent child in doing your own thing, and developing the ability to think independently.

演出在崔老师悠扬的古琴独奏中拉开序幕。美高小提琴独奏团用高超熟练的提琴技艺，为大家带来欢快的《小星星变奏曲》。

Special guest Mr. Cui opened the show by performing a Guqin solo. Afterwards, the violin recital group used highly skilled violin techniques and performed their rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

接着，Vivian老师的英文歌曲，Grace同学的长笛独奏，空手道表演和来自吉他演奏团的表演《小星星变奏曲》等多个节目轮番上演。

Then, Mrs. Vivian's English song, Grace's flute solo, a karate performance, and the guitar group's version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star were performed, among other demonstrations.

台下观众也是热情高涨，不停地挥动着双手，欢呼声、喝彩声，体育馆成了孩子们欢乐的海洋。最后，儿童节演出在热烈的街舞表演中落下帷幕。

除了精彩的文艺表演，此次六一嘉年华，美高还为学生们设计了游园会活动：通过参加趣味游戏，积攒游戏得分，达到一定数量即可兑换相应礼品。

巧手夹珠，步步为营，你比我猜，掌上明珠……孩子们在玩耍中体验着游戏带来的快乐，校园里荡漾着一片欢声笑语。

Children were experiencing the happiness brought by playing games, and there were a lot of happy voices and laughter throughout the campus.

此次六一嘉年华活动，学生在活动中挖掘潜能、张扬个性，其审美情趣和艺术修养都得到了综合的提高，在参与中体验到了“付出辛劳、收获乐趣、合作共享”的快乐。

Students were able to make improvements in their performance skills, for those who performed, and all were able to enjoy the spirit of teamwork, competition, and fun this Children’s Day.
