2018年6月1日、4日，上海美高双语学校社会科学部组织了校外参观，走访上海犹太难民纪念馆。选修世界历史、美国历史、心理学和西方哲学的学生们参加了此次行程，并在行前学习了第二次世界大战和纳粹大屠杀的历史，了解当时身在欧洲与上海的犹太人的遭遇，以及这段历史所牵涉的心理学和哲学课题。

On June 1 and 4, the Social Sciences Department at LWS organized a fieldtrip, visiting the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum. Students from World History, US History, Psychology and Western Philosophy had been studying WWII and the Holocaust prior to the visit and researched not only historical facts but also the psychological and philosophical ramifications of the events that befell Jewish refugees in Europe and Shanghai.

纪念馆由几个部分组成：摩西犹太会堂、两座展览厅、一片名字墙、数座纪念雕塑。它展示了犹太人来到上海的过程、他们在上海的生活条件和生活方式，也突出介绍了当时出于悲悯而帮助他们的中国人。

The museum is composed of the Ohel Moshe Synagogue, two exhibition halls, a name wall and many memorial statues. It introduces how Jewish refugees came to Shanghai, their living conditions, and way of life during their stay in Shanghai. It also highlighted Chinese people who helped them out of compassion.

纪念馆还有关于《安妮-法兰克日记》的特展，呈现了二战时期留在欧洲的犹太人的处境。

The museum also featured an exhibition on The Diary of Anne Frank, allowing students to get acquainted with the situation of Jews in Europe during the Holocaust.

在这次活动中，学生们用心参观展览、聆听导游讲解，并认真填写习题。他们从这段历史中学到了人类的苦难和悲悯。

During the fieldtrip, students examined the exhibitions, listened to the tour guide carefully, and were fully engaged in finishing their worksheets. They learned much about human suffering and compassion from this history.
