“孩子需要鼓励，就像植物需要水。”植物没有了水会死，孩子没有了鼓励会枯萎，会逐渐丧失不断探索的勇气。说到鼓励，家长很自然地就想起表扬，耳畔也会回想起儿时经常听到的“你真聪明!你真棒!”然而这样的的表扬并不都是好的。表扬就像糖果，长期吃对健康不利，还会蛀牙，鼓励则是维生素，可以每天吃，能让孩子得到滋养。那么什么样的鼓励才是好的呢?怎么做才是鼓励呢?本次上海美高学校家长课堂赵东红老师将为各位家长着重讲述《鼓励与表扬大不同》。

"Children need encouragement, just as plants need water." Plants will die without water, children will wither without encouragement, and will gradually lose the courage for continuous exploration. When it comes to encouragement, parents naturally think of praise, and will remember what they often heard when they were children: "you are so smart! You are wonderful! " However, such praise is not always good. Praise is like candy. Eating too much or be addictive to it for a long time is not good for your health. It can also cause tooth decay. Encouragement is vitamin. You can eat it every day. It can nourish your child. So what kind of encouragement is good? What is encouragement? This parents class focuses on "difference between encouragement and praise”

开放各年级学生家长参加。每个家庭限一位家长参加。每场演讲限额60人，额满为止。报名结果将由手机短信通知给家长，家长回复确认后即可参加。

Enrollment

The lecture is open for parents of students from all grades. Only one parent per family is allowed to participate. Each lecture accommodates 60 people at maximum. We will announce the result of enrollment to parents via text message.
