2019年12月15日，由上海市艺术教育协会担任指导单位，上海人民广播电台、阿基米德传媒与上海教育报刊总社文化中心承办的首届“小小明日之星”选拔赛总决赛在上海长江剧场举行。来自上海美高学校G3的蔡同学Leo同学凭借优秀的才艺和不俗实力在本次比赛中获得“星华奖”殊荣。让我们为他送上祝贺的掌声!

On December 15th, the first "Little Tomorrow Star" Trial Finals was held in Magazines Cultural Center. Our outstanding student Leo Cai from G3 has won an award in this competition for his display of talents and excellent performance. Let us please congratulate him on his achievements!

参加《小小明日之星》

初见Leo，戴着黑框眼镜的他，脸上洋溢着笑容，是一位充满自信气场满满的Sunny Boy。在本次专访中，这个阳光可爱男孩的言谈举止中透露着几分斯文和文气，几分从容和优雅。小编还发现他的普通话发音和英语咬字十分的标准，相信做到这些离不开父母和老师的细心栽培，下面就让我们来深入了解一下这位“小小明日之星”吧!

When I first met Leo, he was wearing thick black-rimmed glasses and had a smile on his face, he was a positive boy and showed he was full of confidence. During the interview, the charming and adorable boy's expression and speech showed a bit of softness and style, and even a little calmness and elegance. Xiao Bian also found that his pronunciation of Mandarin and English vocabulary was very standard, I believe that this cannot be achieved without the careful nurturing from parents and teachers, and now let’s move on to the interview with him.

Q:据了解，本次“小小明日之星”比赛竞争非常激烈，万人角逐，你为什么会选择参加?

It is understood that the competition for the "Little Star of Tomorrow" is very challenging and people are fiercely competitive. Why did you choose to participate?

A:起初是妈妈告诉我有这个比赛，说学校有公开招募，我认为这是一个非常好的锻炼自己的机会。我非常热爱艺术表演，这也是一个能够培养我的胆量和展示自我风采的平台。“小小明日之星”有很多优秀专业的导师，能去和这些老师们学习长见识都是吸引我参赛的原因。

At first it was my mother who told me there was a competition and that the school had an open position. I thought it was a very good opportunity to experience this myself. I love art performances very much. I believe this is also a platform that can develop my confidence and show my unique talent and skill. "Little Star of Tomorrow" has a professional production team and a strong lineup of mentors. Given the opportunity to learn greater insights from these teachers is what attracted me the most to participate in this event.

Q:本次比赛你都做了哪些训练和准备工作?

What training and preparations did you do in this competition?

A:从比赛至今有2个多月，在进入决赛之后，我很荣幸的被分配到李欣老师站队。每周末她都将我们聚集在一起排练决赛剧目《绿野仙踪》，我在剧中扮演奥兹国的国王，李欣老师很贴心的将我的恰恰和法语才艺融入剧目中。她还从台词、姿态、走位等各方面对我们进行专业指导。回家之后，爸爸妈妈也会在家中帮我做训练，希望能在决赛舞台上有更稳定的表现，比出好成绩。我每天也会利用在校车上的空闲时间练习口语发音和咬字。

It has been more than 2 months since the match. After entering the finals, I am honored to be assigned to the teacher Li Xin. Every weekend she brings us together to rehearse the final play "The Wizard of Oz". In the play, I play the King of Oz. Teacher Li Xin was kind to coordinate me to perform the “QiaQia” dance and French talents to be integrated into the play. She also provided us with professional guidance from lines, gestures and positions. When I return home, my mom and dad also help me with role playing at home, and I hope to have a better performance on the final round which would be even better than receiving 1st place.

Q:在这次大型比赛中，你有什么压力和困难吗?你是如何克服的?

Do you have any pressure and difficulty in this big game? How did you overcome it?

A:其实这次参赛，我没有感到太大的压力和困难，因为我之前也参加过一些大大小小的比赛，已经逐渐习惯了。想起我次上台，我也是很紧张，小心脏都要跳出来了，但是我没有表现出来。我拥有良好的抗压也是在一次次赛事历练中培养起来的。

In fact, I didn't feel overly stressed and difficulty this time around, because I have participated in some large and small competitions in the past and this helped me gradually become accustomed. I still remember when I came on stage for the first time and I was also very nervous, my heart was literally ready to jump out, but I didn't show any signs of stress. I stayed calm in times of stage fright and I have learned to practice this from time to time.

Q:你这次获奖你想感谢哪些人?他们对你比赛有什么帮助?

Who do you want to thank for your award? How can they help you play?

A:首先我要感谢我的父母，他们一直都很鼓励我多参加这类型的赛事，他们再忙也会挤出时间帮我备赛。这次“小小明日之星”，我的妈妈还申请做了赛事志愿者。用行动给予了我的支持。其次，我要感谢我的学校—美高双语，让我有了如此难得的机会能在全上海市民面前展现我的才华并得到专业导师们的认可。学校纯正英语的环境也是帮我练就了一口流利的英语口语，让我的语感比同年龄的孩子更好，对我比赛能脱颖而出帮助很大。英语现在也成为我的爱好和特长了。First of all, I want to whole heartedly thank my parents who have always encouraged me to participate in these types of events, and they always found extra time to help me prepare for the event. This time, "Little Star of Tomorrow", my mother also applied to be a volunteer for the event. She gave me the greatest support with action. Secondly, I want to thank my school, LWS for giving me such a rare opportunity to show my talents to the people of Shanghai and get the recognition from professional instructors. The school's all-English environment also helped me to develop fluency in spoken English, and the early exposure to a second language helped me develop my linguistic aptitude faster than my peers and helped me to stand out from the competition. To me, English is not only my hobby but also my specialty now.

Q:你觉得这次在决赛中收获到些什么?

What do you think you gained in this competition?

A:通过这次比赛，专业训练和指导，我能自如的在台上表演。语言表达能力有所提高，我变得更敢说、更爱说、更能说、更会说，肢体协调能力也比以前有提升，培养了我良好的姿态和气质。通过“小小明日之星”，我也结交了很多朋友，和他们一起为舞台表演付出，一起笑，一起学，真的是一段难忘的经历!希望更多有才能的同学们能够通过比赛收获自信，勇敢去挑战，因为在竞赛中学到的本领一定让你有信心去征服自己，征服世界。

Throughout this competition, professional training and guidance, I can freely perform on stage. My language skills have greatly improved, and I have become more confident, eloquent, persuasive, and more able to articulate than before. I have also improved my body language abilities, and thoroughly trained myself to have a good posture and speaking demeanor. Through "Little Star of Tomorrow", I also made lots of friends, and had stage performances with them, we laughed and learned together, and it was really an unforgettable experience! I hope that more talented students can gain self-confidence through this competition. The skills learned in the competition will definitely give you confidence to conquer yourself and set presence in the world.

Q:最后一个问题，你的梦想是什么?你觉得你现在所学的对你日后梦想达成有什么帮助?

Last question, what is your dream? How do you think what you have learned will help you achieve your dreams in the future?

A:我现在的梦想是在将来做一个科学家，想探究一切神奇未知的东西。但是我也很喜爱艺术，我现在在学钢琴、舞蹈。小时候我还学过冰球，游泳。学校有开设很多如Steam课、创意美术、柔道等课程，多元化的培养我的兴趣爱好。虽然这些看似和我的梦想没有太大关联，但是我认为这些都是在培养我一个学习的能力和思维能力，我相信通过持之以恒和长期钻研能让梦想触手可得。多才多艺才能让日后的自己有更多选择权，让未来掌握在自己手中。

My dream now is to be a scientist in the future, and I wish to explore all the magical and unknown things to mankind, but I also have a strong interest and desire to learn more in art as well. I am now currently studying piano and dance. When I was younger, I also learned ice hockey and swimming. Although these seem to have nothing to do with my dreams, I would like to think that these are all training me to think critically and logically. I believe that through hard training and long-term research, I can make my dreams possible. Versatility can give us more choices in the future and let the future be in our hands.

采访结束，小编通过此次采访也颇有收获。孩子的大胆表达来自于自信心，而自信心来自于能力，能力并非是天赋，还得依靠家长和学校的正确引导。美高应该做的，就是向孩子提供一个自由丰富的学习环境，然后用一些积极的东西来对孩子产生积极的影响。

At the end of the interview, I also gained quite a bit from this interview. The courageous expression comes from self-confidence, and self-confidence is born as a result of ability. Ability is not a gift, but also depends on the proper guidance from parents and the school. What we should do is provide children with a free and rich learning environment, and then use some positivity to foster a positive influence on children.
