为了让同学们在演讲过程中提高个人语言文字表达能力和文化修养，前不久，上海美高双语学校第四届演讲比赛在四楼报告厅拉开帷幕。来自不同年级的同学们都尽自己的努力发挥出了自己的实力。

Recently, the fourth speech contest of Living Word Shanghai opened in the lecture hall on the fourth floor to improve students' language expression ability and cultural accomplishment. Students from different grades have done their best to speak themselves.

竞赛主题

按照美高传统，本次比赛依旧根据不同年级制定了不同主题：

According to the tradition, the competition has different themes according to various grades.

1年级--3年级：我问过爸爸妈妈最聪明的问题是什么?

Grade 1-3: what's the smartest question I asked mom and dad?

4年级--6年级：新冠肺炎居家隔离期间，我的爸爸妈妈帮我养成了哪些好习惯，是我以后都应该要保持的?

Grade 4-6：During the home segregation of coronavirus, what good habits have my parents helped me develop? Should I keep it in the future?

7年级—9年级：什么是自由?什么人才可以享受真正的自由?

Grades 7-9: what is freedom? Who can enjoy real freedom?

舞台风采瞬间

G1~G3同学们的演讲时而风趣，时而严肃，时而活泼，时而庄重，一副小大人的模样，得到了在场老师和同学们的一致好评。

The speeches made by G1 ~ G3 students were funny, serious, lively, and solemn, like little adults, and were highly praised by teachers and students.

G4~G6用充满感染力语言与清晰的逻辑征服了在场所有评委与观众。孩子们站在台上，演讲中透漏着细腻柔软的情感与清新脱俗的气质。这时候他们展现了最美自己。

G4~G6 conquered all the judges and audience with infectious language and clear logic. The children stood on the stage, and their speeches revealed delicate and soft emotions with fresh and refined temperament. At this time, they showed the most beautiful themselves.

G7~G9的选手们或慷慨激昂、激情澎湃，或情真意切、娓娓道来，演讲过程中还有不少与观众的互动，举头投足之间尽显从容风范。

The contestants from G7 to G9 were either impassioned, passionate, or sincere and talkative. During the speech, there was much more interaction with the audience, and they showed a calm demeanor.

评委点评

本次比赛由方董事长和家委会家长周彩美女士，王欢女士以及梁璜女士组成评委团，评委们在点评环节从选手的演讲内容、技巧、台风、形态和流利程度等多方面进行了评价。

The judges were made up of chairman Fang and the parents of the family Committee, Ms. Zhou Caimei, Ms. Wang Huan, and Ms. Liang Huang. The judges evaluated the contestant’s speech content, skills, attitudes, and fluency.

方董事长讲道：“这不只是一场演讲比赛，它的意义超越了比赛本身，让我们看到了美高学子作为未来中国主人公的憧憬、责任与希望。”

Chairman Fang said: "This is not just a speech contest. Its significance goes beyond the competition itself. It shows us the responsibility and hope of LWS students as future Chinese protagonists."

家委会家长：“本场演讲比赛让我们看到了选手们敢于突破自我的精神，展示了学生在舞台上独一无二的风采。

Parents of the family committee: "This speech contest made us see the spirit of the contestants who dare to break through themselves and show the unique style of students on the stage."

评委点评

比赛历时4个多小时，经过4位评委老师认真仔细的评审，最终评选出各项奖项。

The competition lasted more than 4 hours. After careful evaluation by four judges, the awards were finally made.

感谢参加本次比赛的同学在备赛过程中的努力付出，也感谢活动过程中，提供帮助的老师和学生会，让我们一起期待明年的比赛。希望演讲比赛中，那种较真探索的精神可以在生活中引导我们勇敢向前。
