由西方走向东方的美式教育氛围

American Education – From West to East

韩国济州岛的9位学生于2015年7月27日来到上海美高学校，体验我校国际化教学氛围，体验短期的汉语、英语课程与纯正的美式教育环境。

On the 27th of July, nine Korean students came to our school to experience the international learning atmosphere of Living Word as they took short-term Chinese and English classes and American style curriculum.

上海美高学校办学的国际化环境与氛围越来越活泼与专业，加之中国与韩国的国际化交流越来越频繁，更多韩国学生愿意来中国发展并学习汉语。中韩两国的文化有着非常相似之处，例如文字、生活习惯和传统价值观等。本次来中国的韩国学生的年龄从小学到高一之间，进行为期三周的汉语学习。他们的汉语基础各不相同但对汉语学习和深入了解中国文化有着浓厚的兴趣，相信为期三周的教学能够使他们更加热爱中国文化，为学会纯正的汉语打下好的基础。

Living Word’s international educational environment is getting more and more lively and professional as Chinese and Korean cultural exchanges increase. More Korean students are willing to live in China and study Chinese. There are numerous similarities between Chinese and Korean culture, including writing, lifestyle habits and traditional values. We offer them foundational Chinese classes in the hopes that it will spark an interest in Chinese culture.

我校有浓厚的国际化文化交流氛围。我校韩国籍老师Jane ,徐注希，毕业于我国华东师范大学，能够说流利的汉语，教中国及国际学生韩语课程，是韩国学生的班主任。也是韩国学生与中国及其他国际学生文化交流的代表。

Our School has a strong international atmosphere. Our Korean teacher, Jane, graduated from East China Normal University and speaks fluent Chinese. She teaches Korean classes to international students and is the homeroom teacher for our Korean student body. In sum, she acts as the intermediary between our Chinese and international staff and Korean students.

我校为学生开设第三语言课程等，要求学生在英语能力较好的情况下可以选修韩语、汉语、日语、西班牙语、德语、法语等课程。为学生学习第三国的文化和了解第三国发展机遇提供好的学术平台。让更多国际学生体验我校的教学氛围。

Our school’s third foreign language program has students with high English levels take Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German or French. Having them take a third foreign language allows students to learn about opportunities and culture of a third language group. This strengthens our internationalization even further.

综上所述，上海美高学校为学生提供国际化的夏季课程项目，使学生更好地适应今后的学习环境，尽情发挥自己特长，并成为全面发展的国际化精英。

In sum, Shanghai Living Word’s summer programs make students better prepared for their new learning environment, develop their talents, and help them comprehensively develop into international elites.
