亲爱的家长们，上海美高双语学校很高兴地通知您，我们将为您的孩子提供一次美妙的海外交流机会。我们与Living word Lutheran school Wisconsin(美国总校)联合举办春季深度文化之旅。The LWS Cultural Immersion Trip 将在2018/3/17-2018/3/24之间举行。此活动专为本校高中学生(G9-12)设计，意在为他们带来一次难忘的国际经历。

此次国际游学活动旨在帮助学生，进入美国本土家庭(志愿者寄宿家庭)，体验真实且完整的美国文化与习俗。融入美国总部校园，走进课堂体验纯正美国教学与氛围。深入美国社交生活，领略美国本土生活方式与娱乐元素。使学生真正更新全球化环境下的国际认知，体验中美文化融合，结识国际友人，培养国际意识。

除了进入总校参加Living word Lutheran school Wisconsin正规课程，学校也会提供专业的托福培训和日常的课后活动。未来为美高学校增进文化的多样性、培养学生洞察力、增强国际互动性。 Living word Lutheran school Wisconsin总部学生也将到LWS上海游学探访，延续良好沟通学习文化交流。

Dear Parents,

I am pleased to inform you about a new and exciting opportunity we have for your children. In coordination with Living Word Lutheran School, Wisconsin, we are introducing a spring immersion program. The LWS Cultural Immersion Trip will be conducted on March 17-24, 2018. The Cultural Immersion program for our high school students (grades 9-12) is a life-changing experience. This high school study abroad program provides the opportunity to gain new perspectives in our ever-changing global landscape and a leg-up in an increasingly interconnected global community. The program is designed to be a complete and authentic cultural immersion with each participating student living with a volunteer family. Participants experience life as a local, living with a host family while learning to appreciate a new culture, as well as their own, on a deeper level. As a result, students make life-long friends, cultivate international friendship and understanding, and help to shape the image of America abroad. In addition to participating in regular classes, the students will also have additional specialized TOFOL training provided at the school and daily afterschool activities. Students from partner schools like Living Word Jackson may likewise spend a term at LWS in the future, adding to the diversity of cultures, insights, and interactions on campus.
