上海美高双语学校第五届演讲比赛圆满落幕

本次比赛，我们有幸请到了上海美高双语学校董事长方正先生、上海电视台著名主持人刘舒佳女士、上海广播电台著名主持人同时也是家长代表沈蕾女士、家长代表田璐女士作为特邀评委。

In this competition, we have the honor of having Edward Fang, the President of Living Word Shanghai, and Mr. Liu Shu Jia, a famous host of Shanghai TV station and Shanghai radio stations, as well as our parent representatives Ms. Shen Lei and Ms. Tian Lu to be our invited judges.

同时，本次演讲比赛不同以往，我们将比赛场地搬至二楼，更大的空间搭建起更大的舞台，给学生提供更广阔的成长平台。所有决赛选手都于赛前做好了充分的准备，用自己的精彩演说赢得了观众们雷鸣般的掌声，不仅展现了上海美高学子对演讲比赛的极大热情，也展现了他们强大的中英文口语能力，更锻炼其思辨能力、创新能力，以及讲好故事的国际表达能力;

This year’s speech competition is different from the past, we moved the competition venue to the second floor, and built a larger stage with larger space to supersize competition. All finalists have made full preparations before the competition, and have won the applause of the audience with their wonderful speeches. They not only showed their great enthusiasm as Living Word Shanghai students for the speech competitions, but also show their strong oral English and Chinese, and also focused their critical thinking, innovation and international expression of telling good stories. Finally, after the fierce competition, the list of winners of the speech contest is out!

方董热情洋溢的开场白赢得了观众们经久不息的掌声。在致辞中他就这次演讲比赛活动给予肯定、赞扬和期盼。他表示演讲比赛作为美高双语传统活动，是校园文化重要组成部分。鼓励同学们勇敢表达，锻炼自我，发现自我价值。

Mr. Fang's warm opening speech won the big applause of the audience. In his speech, he affirmed, praised, and looked forward to the arrangement of the speech contest.He said that as a traditional activity, the speech contest is an important part of campus culture. He encouraged students to express bravely, exercise themselves and discover their self-worth.

选手们身着校服，精神饱满，沉着冷静。每个人强有力的座右铭，迅速点燃了现场观众的情绪。比赛中，他们或幽默地与观众互动，或深情地讲述。

The contestants are dressed in formal clothes, energetic and calm. Everyone's strong bearing quickly ignited the mood of the audience. In the competition, they interacted with the audience humorously, and narrated affectionately.

他们用稚嫩的声音尽情畅谈了自己对此次演讲主题的理解。以新颖的角度和方式阐述“在18岁以前，父母会给我培养什么样的亮点?”、“父母是如何教我克服失败及挫折?”以及“父母告诉我要怎样把一件事情做好?”的故事、感触和思考。

Our contestants spoke about their understanding of the themes for their speeches in a tender voice. From novel angles for questions such as "what kind of highlights will my parents cultivate for me?" “How did my parents teach me to overcome failures and setbacks? " And "Have my parents told me how to do a good job?"

选手们的演讲充满青春活力，满怀激情，同时也彰显了当代中小学生积极向上的良好精神风貌。不少有才的选手还频频爆出金句，把一本正经的评委和观众们“撩”得心花怒放!

Everyone’s stories, feelings and thinking were novel. Their speeches are full of youth and passion, and also highlight the positive spirit of the contemporary primary and secondary school students. Many talented contestants also frequently burst out the golden sentence, the serious judges and left the audience in full bloom!

点评环节，评委团老师们纷纷对各位参赛选手的精彩表现给予了高度的评价，同时他们也做了专业的点评，指出各位选手在演讲过程中的优点与不足，更向同学们传授了演讲的技巧与经验，使同学们获益匪浅。

In the review session, the judges highly praised the excellent performance of the contestants. At the same time, they also made professional comments, pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the contestants in the speech process, and taught the students the skills and experience of the speech, which benefited the students a lot.

比赛接近尾声，31位选手经过三多小时的精彩演说，花落谁家终见分晓。主持人宣读获奖人员名单，评委们依次上台为获奖学生颁发奖状奖品，并送上最诚挚的鼓励和祝贺。

At the end of the competition, 31 contestants made wonderful speeches for more than three hours, and it was finally clear who would be the winner. The host read out the list of winners, and the judges presented awards and congratulated the winners in turn.
