Living Word Shanghai was proud to be able to once again welcome Principal David Miskimen from Living Word Jackson to our campus all the way from the United States! His valuable experiences and insights support the continued development and improvement of Living Word Shanghai’s programs, curriculums, and extracurricular activities.

President of Living Word Shanghai, Mr. Edward Jan Fang, spoke together with Mr. Miskimen to present to parents the solid relationship between our two schools, the resource-sharing and curriculum synchronization methodologies in place, and outlined the various benefits that this partnership provides to students and parents of both schools.

The foundation of our relationship with Living Word Shanghai is centered on the idea and goal of providing an excellent quality education to our students.

Living Word Lutheran High School is happy to be able to share resources such as course plans, program guides, and academic pacing calendars with Living Word Shanghai; along with our exchange programs and summer camp activities, these are just a few of the ways that our partnership benefits students of both schools.

In ensuring that students receive a proper globalized education, the curriculums and academic pacing calendars used by Living Word Shanghai undergo a rigorous inspection process. We are both personally involved in this operation and ensure that all resources are properly vetted.

We encourage the development of each student’s individual talents by offering a variety of programs, courses, and extracurricular activities made possible only through the unique partnership that we have. Students of Living Word Shanghai are able to participate in credit-rewarded exchange programs and summer camps at Living Word Lutheran High School, as well as participate in academic competitions and activities such as the American Math Challenge and Yale Model UN.

答：暑期交换生项目是一项多元文化融合和极具学术氛围的项目，通过参加暑期交换生项目，美高的学生能够更好的了解申请大学的步骤及过程，除此之外，学生也将学会如何更好的为SAT、ACT及托福考试做准备。

Q: Can you elaborate a little more on the summer exchange programs that students can participate in?

A: The summer exchange programs are a cultural immersion and academic preparation program. Living Word Shanghai students will participate in several academic preparation programs that prepare them for the University and College application process. Content of the program includes but is not limited to preparations for the SAT, TOEFL, and ACT examinations.

Q: What specific resources do you share with Living Word Shanghai?

A: I share with Living Word Shanghai academic pacing calendars, program guides, and course curriculums for all classes that Living Word Shanghai offers. These resources are fully American, fully accredited, and fully available to satisfy our goal of providing an excellent quality education to our students.
