为了促进学生全面发展，让学生有更多展示自我的机会，上海帕丁顿双语学校于2018年12月26日举办了以“Show my story out”为主题的绘本阅读比赛。参加的班级为小学部1-3年级的双语班，参赛班级先在班级里进行激烈的角逐选出两个节目，各班英语老师对参赛学生进行指导，最后代表班级参赛。

The meaning of the contest is to facilitate the whole-person development of students, and the contest is supposed to offer more chance to show themselves. Our school held a picture reading competition, surrounding the topic of “Show my story out”, on December 26. Each class selected two programs and then represent the class after teacher’s guidance.

参赛的节目各有千秋，赢得了在座的评委和观众们的一阵阵掌声。有的节目通过一些大家熟知的寓言故事，来告诉大家一些道理，比如“做事情要脚踏实地，这样才能成功。”有的节目则通过自己的表演，来向大家传达一些观念，比如“要爱护环境，保护我们共同的家园”。有的节目用悦耳的歌声，让台下的观众也忍不住跟着一起哼唱起来。有的节目则用幽默风趣的方式，逗乐了台下的观众。有的节目用丰富的肢体动作以及精美的道具，让人有身临其境的感觉。

Each program has its merits and wins waves of applause. Some programs tell us a truth through the well-known fable,such as “if you want to be successful, you need to keep your feet on the ground” . Some programs tell us a idea through the action,such as “We should protect the environment and our common homeland.”Some programs are very funny and tickled the audience. And some programs give us a feeling of actually being there by their performance and props.

最后，当所有的班级都表演完毕后，中学部任其兵老师对本次活动进行了精彩的点评和总结，充分肯定了孩子们的精彩表现以及充足的准备。
